Crucial Automation to Improve Lives

When workers stay safe and avoid injury at work, success gets measured by every life-altering disaster that our customers prevent by switching to NITROcrete – and by every goodness that fills workers' lives, instead.

During a trip to Atlanta in July, NITROcrete leadership visited a site during commissioning. Moments away from turning on the customer's new NITROcrete system, our task's urgency became immediately apparent.

Our team spotted a customer's crew member hauling 40 pound ice bags, over and over. With 94 degrees of heat and 87% humidity bearing down on Atlanta, “we couldn't help ourselves, we had to pitch in,” CEO Drew Nelson shared.

With that, Nelson started picking up bags of ice alongside the customer's crew. “We're here to help, man,” Nelson said. “This is miserable work and here we are just hours away from the NITROcrete system coming live,” he later recalled. “It's our job to make his job better.” By adding NITROcrete to their operations, our customer ensured their teams would have easier days ahead.

More Energy for What Matters Most

To us and to our industry partners, this is why NITROcrete exists: the workers who build our communities stretch themselves to their limits every day. They go home to their families after long hours–and NITROcrete automates concrete cooling to make workers' lives easier and safer.

“If one person gets to return home safely to their family less drained, with more energy to give back to their first priorities, we've been a success,” Nelson shared.

With safer work, more dads get to play catch with their daughters after work because they didn't tear their rotator cuff. Without strained muscles, more neighbors can mow their 87-year-old friends' yards every Saturday in summer because they aren't stuck in a back brace.

When workers stay safe and avoid injury at work, success gets measured by every life-altering disaster that our customers prevent by switching to NITROcrete—and by every goodness that fills workers' lives, instead.

Giving back to those who give their all. Every day.

Now with our Atlanta customer's NITROcrete system up and running, that customer's crew has an easier way to cool concrete this summer. To ensure folks have time and energy for their loved ones. To get more out of a healthy life: more Friday date nights, more backyard BBQs on Sunday afternoons, and more strength on any given Tuesday to help a stranger move their stalled car out of the intersection.

NITROcrete exists to give back to those who build our communities. To ensure that our customer's teams—like the one we met in Atlanta this summer—never have to struggle with ice again.
